GCAM Hosts Opening Ceremony for New Plasma Center in Brownsville, Texas
Brownsville, TX, February 27, 2019 — GCAM, Inc. (GCAM) hosted an opening event and ribbon-cutting ceremony on February 27, 2019, at the newly-built GCAM Plasma Center located in Brownsville TX.
Local members of the Chamber of Commerce, members of the community, the CEO, and staff members from GCAM's corporate and regional offices, along with GCAM's plasma donors were in attendance. A ribbon-cutting ceremony, music, raffle prizes, and refreshments were available during the reception.
GCAM Brownsville would like to thank the donors and staff who have helped GCAM collect life-saving plasma. Plasma is a critical component in the manufacturing process of medications for patients with chronic illness. GCAM understands donors are vital. Plasma cannot be manufactured synthetically, so many patients with rare and chronic diseases rely on plasma donations. The reception aimed to thank and encourage more people to participate.
